Ok here we go day two of our "Crazy about green" week. Today were talking about green tiles. I'm a HUGE fan of green tiles so this was a lot of fun to pull together but also hard to decide what photos to focus on. So lets check them out because I cant wait any longer to show off these beautiful tiles.
Starting off with a classic look with the mix of the green tiles. Its a lot more subtle then what is to come in this post but still has a really fun modern twist on things. As I mentioned yesterday there are definitely ways to stay traditional with a fun flare to your design. This bathroom is a great example of how this can work. Another thing to pay attention to in these tile photos and really all of the green interior photos is that to really pull off the green you have to make sure the rest of the materials compliment the green. Keeping the white walls above and the black counter and tub surround really compliment the green subway tile. The finish of the cabinet really helps nicely too next to the green, its got a reddish shade to it and we all know green and red go nicely together (I'm already excited for Christmas 2017).
This herringbone style flooring is a really nice touch to a bathroom. I really believe bathrooms are a place to get creative in your home and have fun with the design. These green subway tiles laid in the herringbone pattern next to the small white hex tiles and the subway tile around the shower is working out great together!
This tile is huge right now and I'm obsessed with it, I love it in the green shade and the way the cement tiles are all a bit different in colour really is the full charm of these tiles. I'm a huge fan of some cement tiles and these green hex tiles are A+ in my book.
I'm just crazy about this, I cant wait to do something like this in a commercial project. The colour is spot on but the herringbone pattern and the glossy finish of the tiles work perfectly but then the light and chairs really add to the space.
This tile has been a real big hit with many Interior Designers right now. I'm loving the fun playful nature of it but its more the colour and the hex tile I'm loving, the pattern is not my favorite but its still fun to show the idea of these dandelion tiles.
This photo is one I'm really obsessing over. I mean EVERYTHING in this photo is working great, and also there is a lot going on that I'm super in love with (Cane dining chairs) Its also got the quilted vintage rug, the exposed ceiling and the large paper lanterns are a nice simple touch to a great eclectic modern space. The red around the table top is also a great touch to compliment the rug and tie in those amazing green tiles on the ball wall. Can I also bring to lite that I love the different size tiles and how its really a great accent wall but is what makes the room.
