So Thanksgiving 2016 has come and gone, but this year we are having two. One on Thursday and one today which is Saturday. Different family members came down for both but today is the big shebang, but as I said Thursday I was in charge and since my brother and I are not always the biggest turkey fans I went with a beef tenderloin and boy oh boy was it delicious, it was cooked medium rare the way most of us liked and the sauce I made for it was terrific.
I'd like to share with all you our menu and the recipes I used for each item. Sit back and imagine how good our meal was.
Cheese Platter for an appetizer and lunch- Assortment of good cheese and crackers and fruit and nuts.
I also made two pies but they got ate before I could grab some photos. But trust me they were just as delicious as the main course.
